...my next Vintage Christmas Boutique, a petite festive event held in my own home where I can welcome customers old and new ~ a chance to talk 'vintage' with like minded souls over a cup of hot chocolate.
I have created some gorgeous (though I say it myself) new designs for Christmas, one~off special pieces, plus an array of carefully selected gifts and decorations from those whose work I admire and definitely not available on the high street!
Our cottage will be decorated for Christmas ~ my favourite time of the year; the fires will be lit, fairy lights on, cookies baking in the Aga, surrounded by vintage loveliness....
I do hope that you can come along ~ all are welcome! Please email me via the link at the side of the blog with your address details for an invitation.
I am pleased to announce that following the success of my first open house sale last December I shall be hosting 'The Vintage Summer Boutique' In June.
A petite summer garden party style affair (weather permitting!) in a country cottage setting. Again, I shall be offering a selection of original vintage, antique and retro goods, alongside handmade treasures and carefully selected items with a vintage theme. Textiles, linens, haberdashery, fashion, furniture and more...
I shall also be joined by a small gathering of like~minded souls selling their gorgeous wares...watch this space for more details.
I hope to make the occasion just a little bit different from the usual larger fairs ~ a bit like an old fashioned village fete where you can stroll around my cottage garden (hopefully the roses will be at their best) enjoy tea and cake and talk 'vintage' to your heart's content.
All are welcome ~ to receive an invitation please use the link on the sidebar to email me with your address details.
Also... For the past two years my own home has been transformed into a festive emporium offering original vintage and antique goods, alongside a specially selected range of unique new & hand~made items.
Watch this space for dates for The Vintage Summer Boutique and Vintage Christmas Boutique At Home' for 2013!
I am lucky enough to work from home indulging my passion for vintage & antique textiles, haberdashery & other paraphernalia that I just can't live without. I am partial to chippy paintwork, faded photographs & reading cards & letters that have long ago lost their owners. I realise that I will never make my fortune doing what I love, but the pleasure I get from hand~making something completely unique is reward enough. Working with treasures in the form of textiles, buttons, beads & trims is a privilege and I strive every day to learn more about their past.
